Sunday, Nov. 11:
Student Veterans of America will be partaking in a national Veterans Day project called the “The Fight Continues.” The project seeks to have the name of every fallen soldier in any American conflict be read aloud on the first Veterans Day after the end of the Iraq war. The local SVA will read a list of 1,750 names of fallen Michigan soldiers in Bronson Park at 1 p.m. and will go to the local VFW office downtown after the reading. The project aims to have 600 events, each simultaneously honoring those who died for the country on Veterans Day. For more information, visit the-fight-continues.com.
